Hilda: Being the Other Woman

I think this is a critical issue. Many women can relate to Hilda when it comes to being in an "other woman" situation. Many times we don't even feel like the other woman. In fact, the girlfriend is framed as the "other woman." We feel as if we possess the better qualities that she doesn't have, when in fact we end up with the short end of the stick. Honestly, we must think to ourselves, why do we tolerate being the side dish to the main course. I think it has a lot to do with hope, naivety, and selfishness. I think Hilda possesses a lot of these qualities. In the scene where "the coaches" wife calls him, Hilda made a joke of it and wanted to ignore the phone call and the fact that women on the other end of the phone was his wife. Why do women do that? I feel if we were to categorize a super power for the female species it would be the ability to ignore reality and indulge in your fantasy. And maybe I'm being cynical, maybe the coach will leave his wife for Hilda and they will be happily ever after or maybe he will continue to live a double life and string both women along. This season we can only wait and see and hope that Hilda does not become another statistic.

OMG!!!!! Betty is Back and Fabulous

With a season premiere under out belt's, we can now adore the newly fabulous Betty Suarez. I totally heart her newly positive aspect on life. She was definitely knocked down by some unforeseen events (i.e. crappy apartment and fight with former nemesis) but she prevailed and comes out with a to-die-for apartment and a possible new love interest. I definitely am feeling her next door neighbor's John Mayer aura. But I guess I should break down my expectations for character's other than Betty this season.

Wilhelmina Slater

I definitely forecast an ugly downpour of awfulness into her life. J/K. Honestly, I predict a softer side of Wilhelmina especially with the baby coming. As much as I hate her sinister ways I think she makes good moves for the company. I'm sorry "HOT FLASH" was not a winner. Wilhelmina is looking rather fabulous and I predict many fierce outfits for episodes to come. I am on the edge of my seat wondering how the new baby will affect the lion to lamb relationship between Wilhelmina and Alexia Meade. When Alexis becomes a new aunt the plot will thicken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hilda Suarez

Her new beau is quite a little hottie but she better watch out for crazy WIFE syndrome.

Crazy Wife Syndrome- is a chronic illness caused by a wife finding out her spouse is a lying cheater!!!!!!!!

I want Hilda to be happy but the coach needs to leave his wife already. I hope Hilda doesn't end up getting strung along the whole season just to get her heart broken but I'm sure Justin will be very important eyes and ears when it comes to having Hilda's back.

Daniel Meade

I forecast much growing up for the rich playboy. His French son can be the embodiment of stability for Daniel. I just hope it's his though. The way the show has so many twists and turns I wouldn't be surprised if the his son's mother faked her death. I really want him to settle down. TEAR.
